Lisa grew up in Keswick Ontario, where she currently resides today. After completing high school she attended Brock University and graduated with a degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in English. She decided she wanted to pursue a career that incorporated her love for animals so she attended Sheridan College and graduated from the Veterinary Technician program with honours in April 2015 and successfully passed her exam in July 2015 and is now a Registered Veterinary Technician.
Since then, she has discovered her passion for emergency critical care in the veterinary field and is grateful for all of the knowledge she is gaining in the process of working at the Veterinary Emergency, Urgent Care & Referral Clinic of York Region.
Lisa owns a beautiful tabby named Elsa, whom she and her placement clinic rescued in November 2014 after being found nearly frozen to death during a snow storm.
She enjoys spending time with her parents on day trips to wineries and has a passion for learning about and trying new wines. She recently returned from Australia where she was volunteering at a turtle rehabilitation centre.
