Echocardiogram and ECG

The Veterinary Emergency, Urgent Care and Referral Clinic of York Region offers comprehensive echocardiogram and ECG services to provide advanced cardiac diagnostics for dogs and cats. Echocardiography is a non-invasive imaging technique that allows us to assess the structure and function of the heart, aiding in the diagnosis and management of various cardiac conditions such as congenital heart disease, valvular disorders, and cardiomyopathies. Additionally, electrocardiography (ECG) is instrumental in evaluating the electrical activity of the heart, helping to identify arrhythmias and other cardiac abnormalities.

All Echocardiograms are completed by an Academy of Veterinary Imaging certified veterinarian. Images are assessed by a board certified cardiologist.
